Erin is my dear sweet sister and Nate is her wonderful boyfriend. My relationship with Erin is one of my most treasured- she’s my family, she’s my best friend, and she’s amazing. I’ve been wanting to photograph Erin and Nate for what seems like forever. This past Saturday all the stars aligned (so did our schedules), and we took a little drive to the outskirts of the city. One of my favorite things about Austin is that you can drive 10 minutes outside of the city and be in what feels like the middle of nowhere. I love Texas. I love country roads. I love fields with long grass and hay bails. I love stormy dramatic clouds. I love my sister. This session was basically a dream come true for me- success!

my favorite session so far. it’s amazing that even in this frigid weather, the sky can be so beautiful. the rich colors of the sky against the dark, bare trees…the tones are amazing!
