Amanda & Adam got married last October. When they invited me into their new (and amazingly decorated!) home for a session, I couldn’t have been happier. They’ve put a lot of work into their house and over the past couple of months I’ve stalked them through instagram from project to project. I’m happy to be able to document their first home together. I cant wait to see how it changes through the years.
When Taylor sent an e.mail asking about maternity portraits, I thought that her name seemed familiar. After thinking and admit-tingly, doing a little facebook looking, I realized that Taylor and I had mutual friends and had met back when I was 15 years old in Van, TX. Turns out, she’d been following my personal blog for years and had watched me go from occasional hobbyist to launching a business. I was seriously flattered that when it was time for her to have maternity portraits done, that she thought of me and reached out.
Taylor and Bo are now the proud parents of a cutie little girl named Lola, but these pictures were taken before they were even letting their baby’s name be public knowledge! I’m pretty sure that Taylor should be the poster woman for how beautiful a pregnant mama is. So happy for these new parents!
Laura & Thomas are getting married in Miami early next year, so I was lucky enough to photograph their engagement session while they were in town a few weeks ago. Love them!
I’ve been so lucky to have been a part of Erin and Matt’s engagement since the beginning.. before Erin even knew she was getting engaged! I photographed the surprise engagement and couldn’t wait to meet with the lovely couple again for a full on portrait session. Erin and Matt chose Tarrytown Methodist Church’s beautiful grounds as their backdrop. I also want to add that the two pictures of the couple draped in a chain link.. Erin made a countdown to their wedding and every day takes a chain off! I was so in love with that idea and the idea of counting down in such a visible way. She’s so crafty! Can’t wait to see what she comes up with for their wedding day.
