The time in between the ceremony and reception when the newly married couple gets to relax before the party begins is some of our favorite time on the wedding day. It’s a quiet moment where snuggling, reflecting, celebrating, and beaming with joy are all encouraged and caught on film. We absolutely love getting intimate with our couples and being able to take a moment to just celebrate them and what makes them beautiful.
Ceremonies are what weddings are all about, bringing two people together in marriage. There are so many things that we love about our job, but a few moments right up there at the top of the list are when our couples see each other for the first time at the end of an aisle, the squeeze of hands right before the first kiss, and the looks of pure elation on the parents’ faces.

Engagement sessions are usually only the first or second times we get to meet with our couples face to face. We spend a few hours walking around, taking pictures, and getting to know each other so by the time the wedding comes around we feel like old friends. We love seeing the different dynamics between our couples and their personalities and being able to photograph what makes them them. One of the best perks of our job is having such lovely people share these exciting and happy times in their lives with us. It makes all of our hard work worth it – more than we could ever put into words.

As the year winds down, we like to reflect over our last 12 months that were filled with awesome clients and friends. We’re going to take the next two weeks to recap some of our favorite moments and to just send off 2012 in a big way and get ready for 2013!
We want to start with families. When people ask what we do, we automatically answer that we are wedding photographers. But really, we’ll photograph anybody that’s happy, in love, and wanting to share. We love when our wedding clients reconnect when they are expecting a little one but we also love to meet new families at any stage, to photograph them in their environment and celebrate what makes them unique. Doesn’t matter if it’s a maternity portrait, newborn session, family photographs, or just an in love pair.. we love you all!
