Jen (& Chloe in belly!), Stefano, and Maddox make up the wonderful Choi family. Not only are they beautiful, kind, and fun to be around.. but Jen are Stefano are talented photographers to boot! I was so so pleased to take photos of this family of 3, soon to be 4, especially since they hadn’t ever had a family session done before. Really?! Love this gorgeous family.
When Taylor sent an e.mail asking about maternity portraits, I thought that her name seemed familiar. After thinking and admit-tingly, doing a little facebook looking, I realized that Taylor and I had mutual friends and had met back when I was 15 years old in Van, TX. Turns out, she’d been following my personal blog for years and had watched me go from occasional hobbyist to launching a business. I was seriously flattered that when it was time for her to have maternity portraits done, that she thought of me and reached out.
Taylor and Bo are now the proud parents of a cutie little girl named Lola, but these pictures were taken before they were even letting their baby’s name be public knowledge! I’m pretty sure that Taylor should be the poster woman for how beautiful a pregnant mama is. So happy for these new parents!
I figured I should blog these before Danielle and Tim’s cutie baby girl, Ruth, turns 13. So, here we go. I met up with Danielle and Tim about 30 days out from them meeting their little bundle of joy. They were all smiles and excitement and CUTEness, overload. I immediately fell in love with their family.
2011 was kind to us, more kind than we could have ever hoped for, that’s for sure. Its hard to put into words how fulfilling and exciting this year was for us and adequately show how much we appreciate our clients. To everyone that let us into their homes, their lives, their families, and relationships, to everyone that trusted us to be part of their wedding and share such happy memories with us: thank you. We love you all!
Liz e.mailed me on a Thursday to see if there was any chance that I had availability that coming weekend to take some maternity pictures. She’s from Waco but was staying in an Austin hospital for pregnancy complications and her husband could only visit her during the weekends. I was so glad that I had space available and couldn’t wait to meet Liz and Steven and hear their story. We walked around a neighborhood I chose and took pictures and got to know each other. Liz is a total rock star and they were both so positive and happy. Liz and Steven were waiting to find out the sex of their baby which.. more power to them! I couldn’t do it. Well, I just checked on facebook and it looks like Liz gave birth to a baby boy, Nathaniel, about a week ago.
Huge congrats to the new parents! So glad we got to meet before Nathaniel was born so that I could document their anticipation of his arrival.
