4 months in to little Grayson’s life, I scooped up my camera and walked across my yard to my lovely neighbors house to take some pictures. I told Nick and Michelle to take it easy, that I’d come in and grab some photographs of them being happy and snuggly and then make my way back home, easy peasy. I love how calm these pictures are and how they really capture their family in the moment. I couldn’t think of a better gift to give my neighbors.

2011 was kind to us, more kind than we could have ever hoped for, that’s for sure. Its hard to put into words how fulfilling and exciting this year was for us and adequately show how much we appreciate our clients. Allyson and Erik invited me into their home again for their first family session with their brand new three week old son, Marty. I met Allyson and Erik as just a married couple. Now they’re a family of three. When I read those sentences out loud it sounds so simple and obvious, but to actually see their family grow and their lives change in such a big way is really really…awesome. Allyson and Erik couldn’t be better new parents and baby Marty has a wonderful life ahead of him. And those little toes and full head of hair? Swooooooon.
I had the pleasure of meeting Mary, Mark, and Mia a few months ago when we spent time together taking family portraits and maternity. I could tell how excited they were to welcome Jude in to their family so I was super super excited when it was finally time to go to their house and meet the little guy.
Their family and interactions together are effortless. It was a joy to enter their home and their lives and capture their little moments. Jude is so loved and I can’t wait to see how he grows.
