Kimbery and Clark’s Engagements in Austin, TX

Kimberly is fun to be around, so easy to joke with, and constantly makes me laugh. Lucky for me, she was one of my closest friends in middle school and made those sometimes awkward years a little bit more enjoyable. We drifted in our later years and reunited at her engagements after maybe 8 years of not seeing each other? Doesn’t even seem possible with how easy it was to pick back up. One thing that my job does is allow me to become friends, real friends, with my clients. I’m so happy that in this case, it brought an old friend back to me. And I’m extra happy because as soon as I met Kimberly’s fiance, Clark, I immediately felt like I won the friend jackpot. I absolutely can’t wait to celebrate them at their January wedding and maybe, just maybe, do some wobbling on the dance floor.

Chris & Shannon’s South Congress Engagements in Austin, TX

Chris and Shannon started their engagement session at Perla’s on South Congress, the setting of their official first date. They toasted over oysters and from there, we were golden. I’m so excited to be traveling to Big Bend this weekend to capture their wedding. They are such a fun couple to be around; so passionate about each other and life that it is contagious!

Laura and John’s Outdoor Austin Engagements

My two favorite things from Laura & John’s engagement session and our time together: 1) Laura’s amazing red blazer & 2) The way John makes Laura laugh.. constantly. This couple is so sweet and fun together, our time flew by and before I knew it, the sun was setting. We had amazing wind that day that at the time, was a hassle to deal with, but ended up making Laura’s hair look extra fierce. I also might have been stabbed in the foot with a decayed wooden stick in the woods.. but hey, I think these photos ended up being worth it. That golden light… a dream come true.
