When Joanna contacted me to photograph her family, I was a bit nervous. I’m used to family portraits where I’m running after little ones and pulling out all the energy that I have to keep up with them. But Joanna asked me to take pictures of her beautiful, all grown up, family. And honestly, I left feeling energized and thankful for what I do. It was so special to watch the Pia family interact and just LOVE each other. They were so smiley, so gentle, so nice with each other.. it was a beautiful thing to witness.
